Man, I need this shit real bad.

There is nothing I love more than a game that is essentially just… a diorama. A diorama you can live inside! Did you ever fuck around with those Square Enix “GO” Games? Holy shit, man. They made ones for Hitman, Lara Croft, and Deus Ex and I disappeared into them. There was even a VR version of the first one there that made it even easier to become a discorporate spirit, flitting above the perfection.

Traveller’s Tales has been rocking the Lego shit for millennia now, and they have cleverly goofed on some of the biggest brands in the world and gotten away with it. The stuff Light Brick gets up to with the same fundamental structures is much more arthouse – photorealistic, tilt-shifty, sculptural. This time around, it’s a co-op puzzler that gives me Snipperclips and Portal 2 Co-Op vibes, which are the exact vibes you want to give me if you’re trying to inspire a purchase. It costs like twenty-three bucks now, but they offer a Friend’s Pass so you only need to grab one copy in a return to ancient, dare I say Diablovian virtues.

Don’t forget that the PAX West shop is still running, if you’ve got a fever for the flavor:

(CW)TB out.
