Many mistakes can be forgiven, but in the workplace, sometimes it can cost you your job. 

If you’re a solid employee, your company will probably overlook most of your mistakes, even the really severe ones. Some people accidentally cost their company thousands of dollars, and the bosses just shrug their shoulders and carry on with their workday. But other times, that manager needs someone to blame, and if they aren’t totally happy with that employee, their head is on the chopping block. 

These stories might make you feel better about the mistakes you’ve made on the job. At least you’ve (probably) never lost your company millions of dollars, bad-mouthed an important client over email, or sent out the wrong item to print out hundreds of copies before realizing the mistake.
