Workweeks are so long and weekends are so short. Imagine how amazing it would be if it were the opposite? With 5 days of leisure at your disposal, the world is your oyster! No longer would the working man be a slave to the workweek, drumming up whatever chores and errands they need to do by week’s end in their free time. 48 hours of tedium would be avoided, and workers could actually have a weekend again, just like we did when we were kids.

Lo and behold, some corporate suit made some stupid laws 200 years ago, and now we’re all stuck with a 40-hour workweek. Leaving behind only two sad days for chillage on the weekend. Well, my fellow workers, what are we to do then? Live it up at all costs, of course.

Grab your weekends by the horns and wrangle your freedom from the jaws of Big Brother. Because without our tenacity and our grit, our free and fun time will scatter away like the roaches in the break room. Start planning your festivities now, because the more leisure planning you do on company time, the more moments you have to yourself on Saturday and Sunday.
